Because of the lockout, the release date of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Suryavanshi’ directed by Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh starrer ’83’ directed by Kabir Khan has been postponed. Both films were scheduled to release on 24 March and 10 April respectively. Apart from these, the release of films like ‘Sandeep aur Pinki absconding’ and ‘Hathi Mere Sathi’ have also been postponed, which would have contributed to the box office collection.
For the first time in 37 years, Amitabh is away from the fans for one and a half months

Cannes on the verge of canceling after 52 years
The 2020 Cannes Film Festival is on the verge of being canceled. If this happens, it will be the first time in its 52-year history. The festival was to be held from 12 to 23 May in the city of Cannes, France. But two months before this, on 19 March, the organizers announced to postpone it amid the outbreak of coronavirus. Even though the organizers have announced to postpone it. But given the current situation, it is expected that this festival may also be canceled. Many celebs from Bollywood like Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone attend these festivals.
The festival began in 1939 and was canceled after just one screening due to World War 2. Then in 1968 the festival was canceled in the middle. IIFA postponed for the first time in 21 years
The 21st edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Award was scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh.
