Gmail Without Internet: Gmail is a popular mail service, and according to the report, 1.8 billion users use it. 75% of people use Gmail on their mobile device, and perhaps this is the reason why Google has now started the facility to use Gmail offline as well. According to California-based tech giant Mountain View, users can now read, respond to and search their Gmail messages even when they are not connected to the Internet.

This feature of Google’s Gmail is going to be great, especially it will ease the problems in places with low connectivity or no internet.

Step 1- First go to Mail.google.com. Google says that Gmail Offline will only work on Google Chrome, and will only work if you’re browsing in Standard mode, not Incognito mode.

Step 2- Once you’re in your inbox, click on the Settings or Cowgwheel button.

Step 3- Click on ‘See All Settings’.

Step 4- Once you are on the page, click on the ‘Offline’ tab.

Step 5- Click on the ‘Enable Offline Mail’ checkbox. As soon as you click on the checkbox, Gmail will show the new settings.

Step 6- You can choose how many days of email you want to sync with your Gmail.

Step 7- Google displays the remaining space on your computer, and also gives you the option to keep offline data on the computer, or delete all offline data from your computer.

Step 8- Once you choose to keep or delete offline data, you can click ‘Save Changes’ and offline Gmail will be activated on your computer.
