Women living in less developed countries who know how to run mobiles are ahead of other women in making their own decisions. According to a recent study, sufficient information of mobile is being effective in advancing women.
Point towards social development
According to research by Make Gill University, University of Oxford and Bokona University, women living in less developing countries use mobile phones for their development. According to the study published in 209 countries in 1993 and 2017, according to the study published in the National Academy of Science, women being mobile indicates towards global social development.
Growth can be increased
With this, the development of important works like better health, gender equality and poverty reduction can be increased. The author studied 100,000 women from Uthopia, Anglo, Burundi, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe to learn how they can become empowered by having a mobile.
However these are all places where the rate of fertility is low. Here the death rate of pregnant women and infant is high. The number of mobile phones owned by women in these countries has increased rapidly.
Aware of disease
In these countries, 1% of mobile knowledge women make decisions related to contraceptive methods themselves. 2% are women who prefer to use modern methods of contraception. 3% of women keep themselves updated with HIV-related information. They also make women aware of such disease who do not have mobile.
Lags behind men
Researchers say that most of these effects were observed among women living in isolated areas and poor settlements. This research also revealed that women living in developing countries, despite being mobile, lag behind men in information and communication technology.
