Pea Dhokla

What do you need

Ground Peas (Puree) – 1 cup, gram flour – 1 cup, semolina / rava – 2 tbsp, ginger and green chilli paste – 1 tsp, ground sugar – 1 tbsp, lemon juice – 1 tsp, cottage cheese – 1/2 cup, fruit salt – 1 1/2 teaspoons, salt.

For Tadka – Oil – 2 tbsp, mustard seeds – 1 tsp, urad dal – 1 tsp, green chillies – 1 tsp chopped, asafoetida – 1 pinch.

Make like this

First of all mix all the ingredients in a big bowl except fruit salt. Add half a cup of water and mix the mixture well. Keep it so thick that it falls easily while dropping it with a spoon. Before making dhokla, add fruit salt and two teaspoons of water to it. Grease the vessel in which Dhokla is to be made. Fill the dhokla mixture with it. Heat the water in a cooker or double boiler, place a vessel of dhokla on it and cook it covered in steam for twelve to fifteen minutes. Take it out in a plate and keep it aside.

Now heat the oil in the pan. Sprinkle mustard seeds Add tempering by adding urad dal, green chillies and asafoetida. Run for a few seconds and then add two tablespoons of water. Pour this tempering over the dhokla. Now cut the dhokla and serve with chopped coriander and mashed paneer on top.


It contains vitamin C from lemons, protein from peas, fiber and iron. Paneer will increase the nutrition of Dhokla.

Sprouted wheat salad

What do you need

Bean sprouts – 1/4 cup, cucumber – 1/4 cup finely chopped, tomato – 1/4 cup finely chopped, onion – 1/4 cup finely chopped, pomegranate seeds – 1/4 cup, roasted walnuts – 1 Tbsp, flaxseed – 1 tsp, lemon juice and salt – as per taste, chaat masala – 1/4 tsp, black pepper powder and coriander leaves.

Make like this

To germinate, soak the wheat in water overnight. Then drain the water and close it in a wet cloth and keep it for the next twenty-four hours. If the cloth is dry, then splatter and keep it wet. It will germinate in about two days. To make the salad, add all the ingredients including the sprouted wheat in big balls and mix well. Serve with a little flaxseed seeds and green coriander on top.


Sprouted wheat will provide protein and energy. The metabolic rate of the body will increase.

Sprouts Kebab

What do you need

Sprouted green moong dal – 1 cup, cumin seeds – small spoon, ginger – 2 teaspoons finely chopped, green chillies – 2 finely chopped, peas – cup, beans – cup, spinach – cup extracted with hot water, green coriander – Cups chopped, Potatoes – 2 medium sized boiled and mashed, Black salt- Tsp, Garam Masala- Tsp, Roasted gram flour- 2 Tbsp, Red chilli powder- 1 tsp, Cumin powder- Tsp, Coriander Powder – 1 tsp, bread crumbs – cup, salt – as per taste.

Make like this

Heat one and a half teaspoons of oil in the pan. Sprinkle cumin seeds in it. Add chopped ginger and green chili and stir for thirty seconds. Mix green peas and beans. Cover and cook until the vegetables are soft. Add spinach and coriander. Turn off the heat and cool the mixture. Add sprouts to it and grind it in a blender. Flip the mixture into the bowl and add the potatoes. Mix all the spices, salt, gram flour and bread crumbs. If the mixture is too wet, add more bread crumbs. Take a little mixture in the palm and give it a round shape and make kebabs. Prepare all the kebabs in this way. Put the bread crumbs on the plate and wrap the kebabs in it. Heat a little oil in the pan. Shallow fry the kebabs till they turn golden in color from both sides. Serve with green chutney.


Sprouts will provide plenty of protein. You can also bake to make it more healthy.
