Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi has launched the new Mi Notebook Air variant. This 12.5-inch variant is equipped with Intel Core i5 processor. Its design is very similar to the 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air which comes with Intel Core m3 processor. Apart from the company’s official website, the notebook’s pre-sale is also happening on JD.com. Talking about the key features, the Mi Notebook Air has a 12.5-inch display, up to 4 GB of RAM, 4G connectivity and 256 GB of storage.

The price of Intel Core i5 variant in the Chinese market is 3,999 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 40,500). in pre-sale Xiaomi Mi Notebook Air is available in Silver color only. You can make an advance booking for the device by paying 100 Chinese Yuan. The 12.5-inch Mi Notebook Air variant has a full HD display (920×1080 pixels). It is powered by Windows 10 Home Edition, seventh-generation Intel Core i5-7Y54 processor with Intel HD Graphics 615, up to 4GB of RAM and 256GB of SSD storage.

There is a 1-megapixel webcam on the front panel which will come with 720p video call support. Xiaomi claims that the Mi Notebook Air 12.5-inch variant offers 1C fast charge support, up to 8 hours of online video playback, 7.5 hours of local video playback and web browsing. The length-width of the notebook is 292x202x12.9 millimeters and the weight is 1.07 kg. In this you will get backlit keyboard, USB Type-C port, USB 3.0 port, HDMI and 3.5mm audio jack. For connectivity, Bluetooth version 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC, 4G support will be available.
