According to the report of our affiliate channel Times Now, 2 separate bail petitions can be given in the High Court on Wednesday for hearing on an urgent basis so that the petitions can be heard on Thursday. Earlier on Monday, Riya and Shauvik’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde had said that he would not hurry to file a bail application. He had said that he would first read the court order thoroughly and after that with full preparation would file a bail petition in the High Court.
Please tell that after 3 days long inquiry last week Riya Chakraborty was detained by the NCB after which she was sent to 14 days judicial custody. Riya Chakraborty is currently lodged in Byculla Jail. Apart from Riya Chakraborty, NCB also arrested her brothers Shouvik, Samuel Miranda, Deepesh Sawant, Zaid Vilatra and Abdul Basit Parihar.
Apart from the bail plea, the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission can also pronounce its verdict in Riya’s case today. After the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Riya Chakraborty went to the hospital’s Morchery to see his body. On this, the commission had given notice to the hospital and the Mumbai police, asking how Riya Chakraborty got permission to go to Morchery.
