Nirmata (Makers)

Mahesh Bhatt is known for making romantic-thrillers and we expected that Sadak 2 will also be in that zone. But no, Sadak 2 is different, it’s more about the dark of humans and godmen. Bhatt’s direction is good, but then the man, who has given us films like Zakhm, Arth, Sadak, and many more amazing movies, we thought his directorial comeback would be epic. However, that’s not the case.

Alekh (Story) – Patkatha (Screenplay)

Sadak 2 tells the story of Ravi (Sanjay Dutt) who has lost his wife Pooja (Pooja Bhatt) and has depressed in his life. Enters Aarya (Pooja Bhatt), who has a booking with Ravi’s cab service, to go to Kailash. The movie was done three months ago when Pooja was alive. While Ravi doesn’t want to go with Aarya, she successfully convinces him to take her to Kailash. But well, there are a lot of secrets that come out during this road trip.

Sadak 2 is written by Mahesh Bhatt and Sumitra Sengupta, and they have tried to come up with a good script. But the screenplay falters a lot, especially in the climax. The movie just goes haywire in the last 30 minutes which is the worst element here.

Abhineta (Actors)

Sanjay Dutt is at his best, and this is a role his fans would love him in. He is outstanding. Alia Bhatt is good in her role, but it’s not a great character. Aditya Roy Kapur too leaves a mark with his performance and he is looking very handsome in the movie. Supporting actors like Makarand Deshpande, Jisshu Sengupta, and Priyanka Bose are irritating throughout the film. Their characters are so badly written that they couldn’t perform well.

Geet Sangeet (Music)

The music of the film composed by Jeet Gannguli, Ankit Tiwari, Samidh Mukherjee, Urvi and Suniljeet is the best element of the movie. After the movie gets over, we are sure you would listen to the jukebox on repeat.

Nirnay (eBioPic Verdict)

Sadak 2 is not a great film and something that we would expect from Mahesh Bhatt. But, it is also not a bad film and you can watch it once at least for Sanjay Dutt.
