During the Big Billion Days sale, a Flipkart customer got two soaps instead of the iPhone 12. Though the chances of such things happening are very less, but it happens to some unfortunate people. One such incident happened recently with Simranpal Singh, a Flipkart customer, who bought an Apple iPhone 12, but got two soaps worth Rs 5. Fortunately, the customer opted for an open box delivery, which in turn saved him money. It is always a good idea to opt for such delivery while ordering expensive products from such e-commerce websites.

Soap bar replaced with iPhone worth Rs 51,000
During the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale, the e-commerce platform was offering incredible deals on Apple’s iPhone 12 series. The iPhone 12 Mini was priced at Rs 34,999, while the iPhone 12 was priced a little under Rs 50,000. Flipkart managed to sell over 2 lakh units of the iPhone 12 during the sale, but one unlucky customer got two bars of soap instead of an iPhone.

Simranpal Singh got Nirma soap in his iPhone 12 package, for which he had to pay Rs 51,999. Fortunately, he recorded the entire incident on video which enabled him to get the refund. He also refused to give OTP to Wishmaster when he opened the box and found the laundry soap. After talking to Flipkart customer care for a few hours and sorting things out, the order was marked as a failed delivery. The customer posted the video online, which helped him get the money back at the earliest.
