Xiaomi has launched its latest foldable smartphone Xiaomi MIX Fold 2. This foldable phone of the company is the successor of Mix Fold launched last year. The direct competition of this phone is from Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Xiaomi has launched its new foldable phone in China. It comes with 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. Its starting price is 8,999 Yuan (about Rs 1,06,300). The pre-booking of the phone has started and its sale will start from August 16. This handset comes with many great features and its screen becomes 8.2 inches when unfolded.

This foldable phone of Xiaomi has a 6.5-inch Full HD + Samsung E5 AMOLED outer display. It comes with a refresh rate of 120Hz and also has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for display protection. When unfolded, the size of the phone’s ECO OLED screen becomes 8.2 inches. This screen comes with 2.5K resolution and it also has a refresh rate of 120Hz. In both the displays of the phone, the company is giving a peak brightness of 1000 nits with Dolby Vision.
The phone has 12 GB of RAM with up to 1 TB of internal storage. As a processor, Snapdragon 8+ chipset is being given in it. For photography, three sensors of the Leica brand have been given in this foldable phone of Xiaomi. These include a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The phone also supports 8K video recording.

This phone with an under-display front camera is backed by a 4500mAh battery. This battery supports fast charging of 67 W. As far as the OS is concerned, the phone works on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box. The weight of the phone is 262 grams and its thickness remains 11.2mm when folded.
